Igloobooks 2020

This was an existing Igloobooks title that needed a complete refresh so it could become part of a newer jigsaw series. 

​

This meant completely recommissioning the illustrations and creating a cover that suited the new series style.

​

Part of this meant adapting istock lettering to suit the theme and modifying an existing typeface. 

 

This was a project where I had to push for my ideas to be heard as we were initially asked to only replace photos with illustrations of the same thing. However I strongly felt that it was possible to do something more exciting and suitable for the age range without taking more time or funds. I am glad I persisted with this and the updated book has been warmly recived.
